What the current scanner detects
Email addresses, phone-like numbers, US SSNs, IPv4 addresses, payment card candidates validated with the Luhn checksum, and IBAN candidates validated with mod-97.
Important limitation
This is a pattern scanner, not proof that a document is safe. Names, addresses and context-dependent personal information require stronger entity recognition and are intentionally not guessed by the deterministic scanner.
